About The Position
As an ERP consultant, you will support customers in designing and implementing their ERP system. In this role, you’ll bring accounting knowledge and a wealth of experience across finance domains, including chart of accounts design, use of dimensions, sales tax, banking processes, and other areas of compliance needs. You will guide and execute implementations, covering the entire spectrum from initial Analysis to steadfast Finance Support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with ERP systems.
- Experience as an experienced BC Finance user or consultant.
- Knowledge of BC Finance.
- Experience in gathering requirements, crafting configuration, testing, training, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to present with confidence and navigate difficult conversations.
- Understanding of change management.
- Eagerness to find solutions to issues.
- Appreciation for and utilization of frameworks.
- Passion for accounting and finance.
Nice To Haves
- Some travel is expected (averaging 25-40%).
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and objectives, identify fits and gaps, and orchestrate the seamless setup and configuration of ERP solutions tailored to their needs.
- Personalize ERP systems to suit specific industry requirements, creating custom workflows, reports, and dashboards.
- Dive deep into existing business processes, fine-tuning them to align with finance best practices and requirements and integrating them smoothly into the ERP system.
- Train end-users and administrators on the ERP system and create test plans and support customers during testing.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the ERP system runs smoothly, addressing any issues or updates.
- Implement and maintain data protection measures to meet compliance requirements.
- Keep meticulous records of system configurations, processes, and customizations.
- Assist in change management initiatives to make transitions to the new ERP system as smooth as possible, highlighting risks and blockers early to partner with the project manager.
