Microsoft Alliance Manager

Aikido Security•Chicago, IL

About The Position

Aikido builds developer-first security products designed to reduce real risk without interrupting development teams or slowing software releases. Founded in 2022, the company says it has $85 million in the bank and is building toward self-securing software. The Microsoft Alliance Manager will turn Aikido’s fit with the Microsoft stack—covering code, cloud, and workforce security—into demand, pipeline, and commercial growth. The role will build and operate Aikido’s Microsoft partnership motion, including demand generation, field enablement, partner activation, co-selling, Marketplace operations, and converting activity into qualified opportunities. The role requires daily overlap with the CET working day because Microsoft’s Europe North partner team in EMEA runs the partnership.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud alliances, partnerships, or partner go-to-market.
  • Proven experience working closely with Microsoft as an ISV and a strong understanding of how Microsoft works with ISVs.
  • A proven track record of growing pipeline through demand generation, hyperscaler field engagement, and partner-led motions.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft’s security, software development, and workforce protection ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge of Marketplace operations, including private offers and MACC, and tools such as HubSpot, Suger, Fours, Tackle, and Crossbeam.
  • A commercial, hands-on approach and the ability to navigate a complex organization and deliver outcomes.
  • Daily overlap with the CET working day.

Responsibilities

  • Own Aikido’s “Better Together with Microsoft” story, working with Product to strengthen the fit and Marketing to bring it to market.
  • Execute targeted campaigns, customer stories, and ecosystem and industry events.
  • Run the operating cadence, including target accounts and account mapping, opportunity registration, pipeline reviews, follow-up, and business reviews.
  • Enable Microsoft field teams to position Aikido and introduce it into relevant customer conversations.
  • Develop sell-with motions with Microsoft-focused resellers or systems integrator partners.
  • Grow and operate Azure Marketplace across self-service, private offers, and MACC-backed enterprise transactions, including conversion, renewals, and reporting.
  • Manage Aikido’s participation in Marketplace, IP Co-Sell, ISV Success, and Security programs, and use relevant Microsoft funding and incentives.

Benefits

  • Top-tier technology pay and equity.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • High-trust, open, and informal working atmosphere.
  • Short decision lines and substantial ownership.
  • Opportunities to grow, take on more responsibility, and shape a personal career path.
