About The Position

This is a customer-facing role focused on providing expert Microsoft 365 and Azure licensing guidance, particularly for GCC High environments. The role involves serving as a dedicated licensing point of contact for high-value accounts, advising on optimal licensing structures, and enabling sales teams. Internally, the position acts as a licensing authority, coaching colleagues and raising the overall licensing knowledge within the organization. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex licensing information into clear advice. It is a fully remote position with a focus on building strong customer relationships and ensuring the right Microsoft solutions are recommended.

Requirements

  • Relationship-first mindset and a genuine drive to take care of customers.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Azure licensing, GCC and GCC High licensing.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, features, and licensing models.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to research and interpret Microsoft licensing documentation.
  • Experience advising customers or internal stakeholders on licensing decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and managing customer requests.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment.
  • Self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft CSP, EA, or AOS-G programs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Partner Center.
  • Familiarity with CMMC compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Autotask PSA or similar ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the dedicated licensing point of contact for high-value accounts, building deep relationships and responding with urgency.
  • Advise customers on the right Microsoft 365 and Azure licensing structure for their needs, balancing cost, compliance, and growth.
  • Translate complex licensing documentation into clear, confident guidance.
  • Partner with Account Executives on active deals, joining sales calls to scope and validate licensing.
  • Act as the escalation path for licensing questions that Account Executives cannot answer.
  • Train and mentor internal teams on Microsoft licensing programs, products, and best practices.
  • Own and resolve licensing tickets and customer requests, often starting from incomplete information.
  • Find the question behind the question, chase the answer, and close the loop with the customer.
