The System Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficient operation of Baton Rouge Community College’s computer systems and servers. This role includes maintaining and configuring hardware and software infrastructure, as well as proactively monitoring system performance and resolving issues to minimize downtime and disruption to college operations. The System Administrator also participates in research, planning, and implementation of new technologies to support and advance the college’s evolving IT and business needs. A strong emphasis is placed on system reliability, user support, and continuous improvement to align with institutional goals.
