About The Position

The Microsoft 365 Analyst supports Peoples Bank’s Microsoft 365 transformation during a six-month contract engagement. Working closely with IT and business units, the analyst helps the Bank make effective use of Microsoft 365 while ensuring appropriate governance, security, compliance, user adoption, and administrative knowledge transfer.

The role establishes best practices for SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and other services the Bank determines beneficial. The work focuses on problem remediation, security configuration reviews, governance, training, and standards for a secure, well-managed environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Microsoft 365 administration or consulting experience.
• Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including developing governance and security frameworks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, governance, security, and compliance practices.
• Strong training and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate certification.
• SharePoint Administrator experience.
• Financial institution experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Copilot deployments, Microsoft Security and Compliance Center, and data retention and records management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bank’s Microsoft 365 transformation and help business units leverage Microsoft 365 capabilities.
• Establish best practices for SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and other selected services.
• Support governance, security, compliance, user adoption, and administrative knowledge transfer.
• Remediate problems and review security configurations.
• Provide training and establish standards for a secure, well-managed Microsoft 365 environment.
