The Micro Technician owns the day-to-day production auto-sampling process and the readiness of the clean room and associated sampling equipment. The role ensures production samples are collected at the required times, correctly identified, documented, composited, and submitted, with complete sample traceability. It also maintains auto-sampler readiness and sanitation, performs N60 sampling when required, and promptly responds to or escalates sampling and equipment issues. Specialized technical repairs are coordinated with the Maintenance team. The technician monitors production auto-samplers, responds to missed samples, plugs, malfunctions, and other upset conditions, and cleans, sanitizes, inspects, reassembles, and replaces equipment and components as needed. The role collects and handles production samples, verifies sample identifiers, maintains documentation and sampling records, prepares daily composite samples, and completes IEH submissions. It also maintains the clean room in a sanitary, organized, and audit-ready condition and follows site food-safety, GMP, hygiene, PPE, sanitation, allergen-control, and contamination-prevention requirements. The position requires work in a food-manufacturing and clean-room environment. Physical duties include standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, handling auto-sampler components, and repetitive cleaning, sanitation, sampling, and documentation tasks. N60 sampling may involve repeatedly handling product bags of varying weights and collecting samples from 60 individual bags.
