About The Position

Provides day-to-day leadership and management of the Corporate Security and Property Management portfolios. Serves as single point of contact and provides approval, guidance and coaching to both teams to ensure respective SLAs are met or exceeded. Provides direct supervision of both strategic partner vendor accounts in physical security and the guards as well as property management and the other ancillary services thereunder. Provides essential communication to the Corporate Security and Property Management chain of command as well as any other relevant departments within the enterprise

Requirements

  • HSD or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • 7-10 years in ascending positions of responsibility in physical security and property management with at least 5 years of supervisory and management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage both the Corporate Security and Property Management accounts and contingent staff on a day-to-day basis in direct collaboration with the respective account leads from each.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and guidance to these functions and represents the direct conduit to the Horizon enterprise and its employees, contingent workers and guests.
  • Budget development, monitoring and reporting for both Corporate Security and Property Management accounts. This includes but is not limited to: spend; forecasting; variances; closings; and any other necessary reporting.
  • Incident response in both areas to include but not be limited to: terminations; WPV events; Fire Drills; Emergency and health related events; and other incidents as needed
  • Liaison and Communications to lead both areas via concierge level of service focused on development and sharing of all relevant information.
  • Provide excellent customer service and a secure environment by identifying information to be shared in an effective manner in all directions across the enterprise.
  • Technology – Evaluate, recommend, implement and utilize various technologic tools, analytics, and intelligence to provide for an optimal workplace and the concierge level of service described above. These can include but not be limited to: security cameras; access badges; key management systems; reporting portals; work order systems; financial reporting systems; and training tools.
  • Planning - Document all processes, job aids, risk mapping, and other efforts to ensure consistent and repeatable support of both areas of responsibility to include but not be limited to: Policy and procedure development and implementation; and Audit response and adherence.
  • Ensures all day-to-day essential tasks are performed and or improved by the strategic partner vendors to include but not be limited to: Enterprise headcounts; vendor parking; domestic and international travel risk assessments; NEO and other necessary presentations; visitor tracking; capital projects; PO and other expense reviews; health and safety adherence; lease administration; and space utilization management via Auto CAD or similar technologies.
