About The Position
This role involves planning, developing, and coordinating in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. The manager will be responsible for obtaining necessary information, preparing training materials, developing course content, determining methodology, and coordinating the development of training aids. They will also conduct training sessions, develop criteria for evaluating training effectiveness, and may utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuous revision of lesson plans is required to meet new training requirements and keep technical information current.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience
- Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience
- NNS Apprentice School graduate (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
- Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
- Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
- Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
- High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
- High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
