The Role Responsibilities include research and/or product development encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: electronics, electrical, mechanical, and/or chemical. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines. Experience leading cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience; PhD and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of ship test planning, validation processes and quality systems.
  • Prior experience with the VCS Test Program.
  • Familiarity with VCS Steam and Electric Plant (SEP) systems.
