About The Position
Opportunity for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join an established team of specialists. This role involves a consult-based practice with in-patient responsibilities while on call, focusing on the full range of MFM services including prenatal diagnosis, complex obstetric management, and genetic/perinatal consultation. The practice has a large referral base and is supported by in-house coverage for deliveries, a dedicated transport service, and an in-house genetic counselor. There is also an opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation and teaching residents.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in MFM.
- 40 hour work week.
- 1 week in 5 on call.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with a large referral base of 50 regional referring OB-GYN physicians.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center with Level III Perinatal services.
Responsibilities
- Practice the full range of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, including prenatal diagnosis, complex obstetric management, genetic and perinatal consultation.
- Provide consult-based practice with in-patient responsibilities while on call.
- Teach residents through our ACGME-accredited OBGYN Residency.
- Engage in academic and/or research affiliation.
