About The Position

Established multi-specialty practice that includes BC/BE OB/GYNs, OB Hospitalists, Midwives, and Advanced Practice Providers. The practice offers 24-hour in-house call coverage with 3 physicians (2 general OB/GYNs and 1 OB hospitalist) and 1 CNM. Monthly call for a 1.0 FTE position is 4, 24-hour shifts. Physicians admit to only one hospital. The practice provides 24-hour dedicated Labor & Delivery anesthesia coverage and has a state-of-the-art, family-oriented L&D unit with 5 private triage rooms and 7 spacious fully-appointed LDRs. There are 5 Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians with 24/7 MFM coverage on a dedicated antepartum unit adjacent to Labor and Delivery. Additional Obstetric support services include 6 Neonatologists on staff with 24x7 in-house Neonatology coverage and 48 NICU beds. On-site Women’s Health sub-specialties include Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Reproductive Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology (including da Vinci © systems). The practice has an academic and research affiliation with an ACGME-Accredited OB/GYN Residency Program and Magnet® designation.

Requirements

• BC/BE OB/GYN
• Ability to provide 24-hour in-house call coverage
• Ability to admit to only one hospital
• Ability to provide Labor & Delivery anesthesia coverage
• Experience with da Vinci © systems (for Minimally Invasive Gynecology)
• Academic and research affiliation
• Consideration for candidates desiring balanced OB/GYN, OB dominant, and OB only
