About The Position

This is an inpatient OB Hospitalist position in Urbana, IL. The role involves working within a Level III perinatal program, providing a full-service, 24/7 program. The ideal candidate will be an experienced OB/GYN with strong clinical skills and experience managing high-risk deliveries in a Level III center. This position functions as a Maternal Fetal Medicine extender, with MFM providing overnight coverage. The team is collaborative and includes BC OB/GYNs, Midwives, Advanced Practice Providers, full-time Gyn Onc, and Level III Perinatal services supported by Neonatologists and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists. Duties include triage, evaluation, and management of patients in Labor & Delivery, performing vaginal deliveries and C-sections, and assisting other OB medical staff. There is an opportunity to provide in-house gyn coverage for those interested in maintaining those skills, as well as potential for academic and/or research affiliation.

Requirements

• BC/BE OB/GYN
• Experienced OB/GYN with high level of clinical skills
• Experience with high-risk deliveries in a Level III center required
