About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to hire a dedicated School Social Worker for a full-time opportunity. If you're passionate about supporting students' academic achievement, emotional well-being, and social development, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative school community. As a valued member of the student support team, you'll work closely with educators, families, administrators, and related service providers to help students overcome challenges that affect learning. Through counseling, consultation, and evidence-based interventions, you'll play an important role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment where students can thrive. In this role, you'll provide individual and group social work services that address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs while collaborating with school staff and families to develop effective intervention strategies. You'll conduct student assessments, assist with crisis response and conflict resolution, maintain accurate documentation, participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, and connect students and families with community resources that promote long-term success.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric/child-focused environment is strongly preferred.
