About The Position

At Rebecca School, we support students ages 3–21 with neurodevelopmental delays through the DIRFloortime® model. As a School Social Worker at Rebecca School, you will support students and families within our specialized school setting. You will serve as a liaison between students' home and school environments, provide counseling services, connect families to resources, and partner with interdisciplinary teams to promote each student's functional-emotional development using neurodiversity-affirming DIRFloortime®-informed practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work (MSW) or related supportive mental health field
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• New York State licensed master of social work (LMSW) or licensed clinical social work (LCSW) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing family support, education, referrals, and community resources to students' family networks
• Conduct home visits and provide clinical and counseling services to students
• Complete documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and family communication
• Participate in IEP meetings to support families, administer social histories, and conduct school visits following placement letters
