About The Position

We are seeking dedicated Meter Installers to join our team. This role involves performing daily field deployments and route saturation, accurately documenting completed work, and identifying/elevating any issues to a supervisor. The position requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift equipment up to 25 pounds, and operate a motor vehicle safely. While previous experience is preferred, we are willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic and the necessary physical capabilities.

Requirements

Previous AMR/AMI Meter Installation experience and/or Field Technician experience is preferred but We WILL TRAIN!
Previous electrical experience, training or knowledge is preferred
Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
Excellent communications skills
Customer Service skills – must be able to interface with Field Representatives & Customers in a positive and professional manner
Ability to read and understand maps
Self-motivated, ability to work independently
Must pass the following pre-employment requirements: Drug Screen
High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Windows knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced production, deadline driven environment
Deliver exceptional safe quality AMI meter installations
Ability to accurately record information in a Windows based handheld computer
Self-motivated, can work independently with technical support as needed

Responsibilities

Identify any issues or problems and elevate to the Supervisor on each occurrence
Accurately document the completion of all work performed
Perform the daily task of field deployment and route saturation
Physically able to lift equipment or other objects weighing 25 pounds or more
Ability to work in an outdoor environment, including walking, climbing, stooping & driving 8-10 hours per day in all types of weather conditions.
