About The Position

The Metals Post Processor transforms 3D-printed metal parts into polished, customer-ready products, including titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum components. The role uses advanced post-processing methods and precision equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with work that supports medical devices and may involve export-controlled products for aerospace and defense customers. The position requires attention to quality, safety, and cleanliness, as well as collaboration and readiness to learn new tools and techniques. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The role is onsite three days per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to wear full-face, half-face, and/or powered air-purifying respirators; fit-testing is provided during hiring and annually.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and performing sustained physical tasks.
• Ability to work on export-controlled products from aerospace and defense customers.

• Machine shop operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Finish 3D-printed metal parts to meet customer and quality standards.
• Operate precision grinders, sanders, blast cabinets, and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Work with titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to address challenges and support 3D-printed healthcare solutions.
• Perform hands-on work alternating between seated and standing positions and handling materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
