About The Position

Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company. We are a leading provider of aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions that safely & reliably extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture and repair critical turbine components for a range of engine platforms. Our solutions support the engines running the aerospace, energy and defense industries around the world. We're looking for a Metal Worker to support the repair and production of critical aerospace components. In this hands-on role, you'll use tools, fixtures, and equipment to modify, blend, and prepare parts to required specifications while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) may be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Manufacturing or metalworking experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Blend, polish, and modify metal parts to required specifications
  • Set up and use tools, fixtures, and production equipment
  • Inspect parts using handheld measuring tools
  • Follow production instructions, quality standards, and repair requirements
  • Mix and prepare production materials as required
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with other production-related tasks as needed
