About The Position

This person will provide day-to-day leadership and supervision in the achievement of productivity, schedule attainment, quality, and Employee Health & Safety programs. The role involves coaching and supporting the area of responsibility, daily communication and coordination with teams, other supervisors, and departments. It also includes directing work assignments in accordance with the production schedule, planning and organizing activities of the production/assembly line to meet production deadlines, and monitoring housekeeping (5 pillars) and correcting safety issues. The supervisor ensures compliance to environmental, productivity, quality, and health & safety standards, identifies and implements continuous improvement projects, and prepares and adheres to the department budget. Additionally, the role involves enforcing policies and procedures, applying disciplinary action as needed, preparing and maintaining production reports and records with corrective action when necessary, coordinating departmental maintenance and engineering needs, responsible for inventory analysis, and ordering and purchasing necessary equipment or materials for assembly or production. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

3-5 years experience with production supervision.
2 years of industry experience
Outstanding leadership, influence, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements in a team environment
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple operations with high integrity

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical engineering degree is desired

Responsibilities

Coach and support area of responsibility
