About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all company policies are carried out. This role involves leading and assisting in accident investigations, completing accident reports within 24 hours of occurrence, and planning, assigning, and directing all production activity and associates. The supervisor will utilize effective communication with all associates regarding production standards and performance rates, and lead corrective action and continuous improvement teams. Responsibilities also include conducting annual performance reviews, coaching associates, completing conduct and corrective action reports, and holding shift meetings to discuss objectives and relay important information. The supervisor will manage days off requests, prioritize production requirements by assessing labor needs versus headcount, and approve daily employee timecards and attendance paperwork. Additionally, they will ensure associates are adequately trained and conduct training when necessary, and meet with other supervisors and management to review production activities.

  • Must be responsible for the approval and management of days off requests from production associates.
