About The Position
The Metal Blender/Sander smooths, polishes, or sands metal components using handheld sanding equipment. The position works in a manufacturing setting and reports to the Sr Team Lead. It is classified as non-exempt.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding and use of power tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- De-burr metal components to meet quality specifications.
- Perform self-inspections to ensure conformance to quality standards.
- Examine work pieces for defects and report any defects to the team leader.
- Perform minor equipment maintenance on occasion.
- Wear personal protective equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
