About The Position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is hiring a seasonal Meta Sales Specialist to work within a local big-box retailer. The role demonstrates and promotes Meta products to consumers, creates excitement around the brand, builds relationships with retail associates, and trains store teams on AI apps, tools, and product features. Product and technology training is provided.

The position is based at Walmart 3284 in Arlington, Texas. The scheduled hours are noon to 6:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, totaling 12 hours per week, with additional shifts in November and December for key shopping days. Required holiday availability includes the day before Thanksgiving and two designated weekdays leading up to Christmas. The assignment runs from November 7, 2026, through January 24, 2027.

Compensation is $21 per hour plus a seasonal completion bonus, subject to attendance requirements, employee standing, and KPI performance. The role also offers weekly base pay with optional DailyPay cashouts, paid remote product and technology training, potential career pathways, and sales contests with additional incentives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
• Customer-first experience mindset.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work weekends and a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
• Smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11, Samsung S25, or newer.
• Own reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.

Nice To Haves

• Six or more months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing.
• Interest in technology, wearable AI, and/or virtual reality technology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive Meta products through hands-on experiences.
• Proactively engage shoppers and create welcoming, personalized customer experiences.
• Create memorable customer experiences that leave shoppers with a positive impression of Meta and its products.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits based on customers’ interests and needs.
• Guide customers from initial engagement and product demonstration through asking for the sale.
• Keep displays organized, products demo-ready, and the retail experience aligned with Meta brand standards.
• Build relationships with store teams and inform them about current products, features, and promotions.
• Track demonstrations, customer engagement, and sales activity while working toward individual and program performance goals.
• Stay current on product launches, software updates, and emerging technology.
• Train store teams on new AI apps, tools, and product features.
