About The Position

As a Manufacturing Systems Analyst III, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing IT systems that drive automotive manufacturing operations. This includes developing and maintaining applications, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and maintain vehicle quality. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, uptime, and innovation of manufacturing processes, including support for next-generation vehicle models. Application & Database Development: Design, modify, test, and deploy C# and ASP.NET applications; create and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support manufacturing systems. Systems Monitoring & Maintenance: Configure and maintain servers, VMs, workstations, and lineside IT equipment; use tools like SNMP, What’s Up Gold, vRealize, and VNC to monitor system health and performance. Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Analyze system logs, debug source code, and create incident reports to resolve production-impacting issues; serve as an escalation point for MES Technicians. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with production engineers, managers, and stakeholders; assist users with manufacturing IT, quality datas, and robot status and communication; train and support MES Technicians. System Reliability & Disaster Recovery: Ensure high availability of systems through clustering, replication, backups, and patching; coordinate with network, security, infrastructure and database teams to maintain proper configurations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 7+ years of hands-on development using C#, WinForms, ASP.NET, HTML5, AJAX, IIS, Windows Server, SQL, and Visual Studio.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in building and maintaining web and desktop applications.
  • Comfortable in customer-facing roles, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide technical support.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear documentation and collaboration across teams.
  • The ability to plan and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hands-on experience in system administration and working within MES or manufacturing environments is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with key software and technologies such as SCADA, Oracle, PL/SQL, PLC, Android, Linux, VMware, Active Directory, MES, and PGL.
  • Understanding of industrial control systems and manufacturing-related IT infrastructure, including integration with production equipment and software platforms.
