Merchandising Manager

About The Position

The Merchandising Manager leads a team of Merchandisers responsible for in-store execution in large-format stores, including placing products on shelves and maintaining displays and cold equipment. The manager coaches and develops the team and manages labor hours within a set budget. The role also establishes weekly routes, maintains communications with retail partners and decision makers, and supports the implementation of national and local programs. It includes regular route rides, team meetings and workshops, collaboration across the organization, and ensuring the team follows company standards and operating procedures.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management.
Experience managing a team of sales and/or merchandising employees.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT Medical card.
Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.
English language ability.

Responsibilities

Establish weekly merchandising routes for each employee.
Manage labor hours within the specified budget.
Maintain regular, ongoing communications with retail partners and decision makers to implement national and local programming.
Complete three route rides per week to train, develop, and evaluate Merchandiser performance and market execution.
Conduct bimonthly Merchandiser meetings and workshops, both in groups and one-on-one, to improve execution expertise and recognize or reward results.
Collaborate across the organization and share best practices.
Contribute to and lead among the peer group.
Build a diverse organization that reflects the marketplace and lives Red Bull’s values, inspiring the team through effective leadership.
Ensure the Merchandising team understands and follows company standards and operating procedures.
Coach and develop the Merchandising team.
