About The Position

Core-Mark is seeking a Marketing and Merchandising Intern for its 10-week summer internship program at its headquarters in Westlake, Texas. Interns gain hands-on experience working with business professionals, taking part in enterprise-wide projects and meaningful assignments, and applying concepts through immersive work. They explore their career interests, build new and transferable skills, and receive hands-on training, oversight, and mentorship from a Core-Mark leader. The program is intended for students with strong academic achievement, leadership aptitude, teamwork and analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and an interest in pursuing a career in the field.

The internship runs from May 24, 2027, through August 6, 2027. The starting pay rate is $22.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday during normal business hours, and interns must work in the office five days per week.

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student expecting to graduate no later than May 2027.
• Must be able to work in-office five days per week and reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex or be willing to relocate.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship experience in a related field is preferred.
• A major or field of study in Marketing or Business is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in managing content and execution of sales and marketing materials.
• Support the vendor and item setup process.
• Assist in resolving program billing and tracking.
• Investigate and correct issues causing incorrect input or output by reviewing edit reports, input documents, and online system screens, and by developing query reports.
• Support and assist with ad hoc requests or projects.
