About The Position

Core-Mark is seeking a Marketing and Merchandising Intern to join its team of business professionals at its headquarters in Westlake, Texas. The 10-week summer internship offers hands-on learning through enterprise-wide projects and meaningful assignments. Interns develop skills through immersive application, explore their career interests, and receive training, oversight, and mentorship from a Core-Mark leader. The program seeks students with strong academic achievement and demonstrated leadership, teamwork, analytical, and communication abilities, as well as an interest in pursuing a career in their field. The internship runs May 24, 2027, through August 6, 2027, and pays $22.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with work in the office five days per week.

Requirements

Must be an undergraduate or graduate student with expected graduation no later than May 2027.
Must be able to work in the office five days per week and reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex or be willing to relocate.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Nice To Haves

Previous internship in a related field.
Major or field of study in Marketing or Business is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Support the team in managing the content and execution of sales and marketing materials.
Support the vendor and item setup process.
Assist with resolving program billing and tracking.
Investigate and correct problems causing incorrect input or output by reviewing edit reports, input documents, and online system screens, and by developing query reports.
Support and assist with ad hoc requests or projects.
