About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a strong shopping experience. You maintain accurate signage, pricing information, and displays so merchandise is easy to find, and create safe, clean, visually appealing displays that customers can access. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may engage with customers, answer questions, share product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise. The role may involve working inside and outside in changing weather and climate conditions, exposure to noise and moving equipment, and occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. The position is part-time and pays $15.00–$15.60 per hour; starting pay may vary based on factors such as position, location, education, training, and experience.

Requirements

Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or over 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
Follow lifting guidelines, which limit single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

Lowe's sales floor experience.
Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
Ensure product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
Analyze metrics and provide project-execution and in-store-service feedback to store, market, and corporate leaders.
Assist customers when opportunities arise by listening, answering questions, sharing product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise.
Complete other duties as assigned.
