About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a great shopping experience. You build and maintain displays and implement merchandising strategies that showcase products. You ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and easy for customers to access. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise. The role may involve occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores, and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather and noise conditions. Associates must follow safe lifting guidelines and use powered equipment only with proper training or assistance.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or over 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe's sales-floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
• Ensure product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• When opportunities arise, listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
