Merchandising Associate
About The Position
The Merchandising Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is at the TJ Maxx Store 1286 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, with a starting pay range of $12.50 to $13.00 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain and uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
