Merchandising Associate
About The Position
The Merchandising Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates help uphold a positive store culture and established customer experience and merchandising practices. The position is at Marshalls Store 1258 in Plant City, Florida, with a starting pay range of $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
