About The Position

The Merchandiser assists with activities related to the sales, service, and merchandising of products sold by Faust Distributing Company (FDC). The position supports product availability, freshness, visibility, and retail execution across assigned accounts, while maintaining professional relationships and communicating with Account Sales Managers and other team members. The role requires adherence to FDC conduct, appearance, safety, and retail execution standards. It involves physical work, including restocking and handling cases, operating material-handling equipment, and working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent time-management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Ability and willingness to work weekends.
Ability to pull, push, and lift up to 75 pounds.
Good driving record.
Valid driver's license.
Maintain at least $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 in personal vehicle auto liability and property damage insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

Wear required personal protective equipment and perform duties in a manner that promotes the safety of oneself and others.
Follow FDC personal conduct, appearance, and retail execution standards.
Restock designated coolers, shelves, and displays at assigned accounts to ensure product availability, prioritizing FDC non-alcoholic products.
Rotate products continuously in accordance with FDC Code Date Policies to maintain product quality and freshness.
Keep backroom inventory spaces clean, organized, and safe.
Assist with or build displays using appropriate point-of-sale materials to improve product visibility and meet retail programming needs.
Assist with receiving FDC deliveries at assigned accounts.
Develop and maintain productive professional relationships in assigned accounts.
Maintain knowledge of Faust Distributing’s brands and packages.
Communicate daily objectives with Account Sales Managers and team members.
Report vehicle accidents and on-the-job injuries according to the protocol in the Faust Employee Handbook.
Promote FDC’s business, monitor competitive activity, identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, and report areas where FDC is disadvantaged.
Follow Faust’s safety training policies and procedures.
