As a Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organizational and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support other team members with seasonal resets and installations. Occasional work with other companies’ products in the stores you service may be available. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. Day-to-day work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products within and outside the department, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. You are responsible for the Hallmark product display at your assigned stores and are expected to interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers. Seasonal demand brings additional workdays and extended hours around major holidays. Work on certain holidays may be required, including weekends. You may also assist with department resets, fixture installation, department relocations, and card-section resets; remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Merchandisers may support colleagues in other territories as needed. This is a part-time position with a variable work-week schedule, averaging 12–14 hours weekly. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees with schedules under 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
