Hallmark is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to service Hallmark departments in retail stores such as grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role works independently to maintain and showcase Hallmark products, build relationships with store teams, and represent Hallmark. Merchandisers may also support other products in the stores they service and assist fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. The work includes routine restocking, organizing, and inventory monitoring; seasonal support around major holidays; and occasional department installations and resets. A mobile device provided by Hallmark is used for daily merchandising tasks, time reporting, communication with a supervisor, feedback, and surveys. The role averages 12–14 hours per week on a variable work-week schedule. Availability before and after major holidays, including possible weekends, is required, as is availability for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid training through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits. The position is physically demanding and involves working on sales floors and in back stockrooms. Employees must frequently push, pull, lift, and carry items up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday. Climbing stairs and step ladders may also be required.
