About The Position

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service retail locations independently and help display and maintain inventory of celebration products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, and plush. The assigned route services a retail location at 7930 East 49th Ave, Denver, CO 80238. The schedule averages 5 hours per week and may increase to an average of 12 hours per week around holidays. The position offers flexible scheduling and paid training. Starting pay is $19.40 per hour, increasing to $20.50 after six months and $21.50 after one year of continued employment; listed rates may vary by work location.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Access to reliable transportation, as most routes include multiple retail locations.
Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
Technological competency and ability to learn and use a company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and work the day before and after major holidays as needed.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
No experience is necessary; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Service stores on the assigned route by merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying products in greeting card departments and other retail locations, maintaining organized backroom areas, and performing other inventory tasks as needed.
Communicate questions or concerns about service or schedules to management.
Work in a fast-paced retail environment using effective time management and organizational skills.
Build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
Be available for additional workdays and extended hours leading up to and immediately following major holidays.
Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
Review and plan the weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company-issued tablet.
