About The Position

Footprint Solutions is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to independently service retail locations in an assigned local territory. The role helps ensure products and displays meet client standards. The route typically averages 5 hours per week, and in some areas averages 10 hours per week, with service at locations in Circleville, Stoutsville, and Amanda, Ohio.

Footprint Solutions has partnered with leading retailers for more than 20 years, providing merchandising, installation, and in-store support services. No experience is required; virtual training and ongoing support are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and supplemental income.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including text and/or email.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while providing accurate and timely reporting via a mobile device.
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to effectively communicate with store personnel.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and carry out written instructions.
• Must be able to move throughout assigned work areas to complete merchandising tasks.
• Ability to consistently access product on shelving from ground level to 5 feet high, and occasionally up to 6 feet high.
• Ability to accurately inspect merchandise, displays, and product placement.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous merchandising or retail experience is a plus.
• Related experience includes retail, customer service, merchandising, stocking, inventory, delivery services, gig work, part-time employment, and dollar store retail.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and organize merchandise.
• Update planograms and product displays.
• Complete audits, surveys, and reporting.
• Assist with store refreshes and resets.
• Apply security tags and labels.
• Take photos and submit reports through a mobile app.
• Build professional relationships with store associates and management.
• Communicate directly with the District Manager while working independently in stores.
