About The Position

As a Merchandiser at Breakthru Beverage, you will showcase brands by building displays, managing inventory, and improving product placement in customer accounts. The role involves daily merchandising in new and existing accounts, building relationships with key account contacts, and sharing feedback with sales team members about brand and category opportunities. You will develop knowledge of beer, wine, and/or spirits, and handle beverage alcohol products responsibly. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST. Reliable transportation is required to travel to customer accounts daily. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, with a $2,400 annual car allowance, a company-issued gas card, and a $500 sign-on bonus. The position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time-off benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan.

Requirements

Must be 21 years or older to apply.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment.
Able to work occasional weekends.
Able to lift and carry 45–65 pounds.
Frequently sit, stand, bend, squat, reach, and climb up and down a ladder.
Regularly lift 45–65 pounds.
Able to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.

Responsibilities

Stock and rotate shelves in new and existing accounts.
Build displays and manage point-of-sale materials.
Perform store resets for remodels, grand openings, or seasonal changes.
Build rapport with key account contacts and obtain feedback on merchandising activities.
Share feedback with sales team members to identify brand and category opportunities.
Identify opportunities to expand shelf and cold-box facings.
Communicate out-of-stock items and new item opportunities.
Learn and grow knowledge of beer, wine, and/or spirits brands and products.
Responsibly handle beverage alcohol products and interact safely and responsibly with the public.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
