About The Position

As a Merchandiser at Breakthru Beverage, you will showcase the company’s brands by building displays, managing inventory, and improving product placement. The role involves merchandising at new and existing customer accounts, building relationships with key account contacts, identifying sales and placement opportunities, and developing knowledge of beer, wine, and/or spirits. Employees must responsibly handle beverage alcohol products and interact safely and responsibly with the public.

The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST. Reliable transportation is required for daily travel to customer accounts. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, with a $2,400 annual car allowance, a company-issued gas card, and a $500 sign-on bonus. The position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time-off benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Have strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment.
• Able to work occasional weekends.
• Able to lift and carry 45–65 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise new and existing accounts daily.
• Stock and rotate shelves.
• Build displays.
• Manage point-of-sale materials.
• Perform store resets for remodels, grand openings, or seasonal changes.
• Build rapport with key account contacts and obtain feedback on merchandising activities.
• Share account feedback with appropriate sales team members.
• Identify brand and category opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to expand shelf and cold-box facings.
• Communicate out-of-stock issues or opportunities for new items.
• Develop knowledge of beer, wine, and/or spirits for the company’s brands and customers.
• Handle beverage alcohol products responsibly and interact safely and responsibly with the public.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor.
