About The Position

Merchandisers help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. The role primarily focuses on merchandising, but may also include sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. The position is referred to internally as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal, short-term position lasting no longer than six months. Team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The position may include order delivery when assigned, including loading and delivering orders in accordance with company policies and traffic and safety laws.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, repeatedly bend down, and remain on one's feet for 8–10 hours per day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions during the workday.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One or more years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services; drive and make deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, and provide information about products and services to deliver personalized customer service.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to develop product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally while following company procedures and traffic and safety laws.
