About The Position

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. Merchandisers maximize product inventory and support online business operations to help ensure a positive shopping experience. Although positions may be part-time or full-time, merchandising is the primary focus, with sales, front-end, or other responsibilities assigned as needed. This seasonal role is short term, lasting no longer than six months, and team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The position is internally referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of experience.
At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is added as an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws.
