About The Position

The Seasonal Merchandiser is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, loss prevention, safety, and labor standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs.

The position supports store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; promotes credit and loyalty programs; processes customer transactions and merchandise; and maintains merchandising, recovery, cleanliness, and shrink-reduction standards. The role also provides and accepts feedback and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers while applying established customer experience practices.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
