About The Position
The Seasonal Merchandiser stocks and merchandises Frito-Lay products, including brands such as Lay's and Doritos, to keep store shelves full, neat, and ready for customers. The role involves traveling to a variety of store locations in a personal vehicle, retrieving products, and merchandising them throughout each store. The Merchandiser works with professional Route Sales Representatives and follows a consistent schedule with set start times and customers, with opportunities to attain different work schedules over time. The position is based in San Antonio, Texas, pays $21.80 per hour, and has a variable schedule with two days off per week. The stated work hours are 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The work is fast-paced and hands-on, with much of the day spent on the move and lifting, bending, and moving product. Training includes hands-on and classroom instruction. A company-issued iPhone is used to view schedules, communicate with team members, and log activity. Gas mileage is reimbursed for use of a personal vehicle.
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Be able to frequently lift up to 40 lbs., with or without a reasonable accommodation.
