About The Position

The Merchandiser displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and retail sales floors. The position is based in Mesilla Park, New Mexico, and is responsible for arranging products, maintaining displays and signage, moving stock from customer stock rooms to floor displays, and ordering products for assigned accounts. The Merchandiser communicates with store personnel about service and product needs and assembles display aids using company-provided point-of-sale materials. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Arrange products according to a prearranged plan or other ideas approved by management.
Place price and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floors.
Transfer products from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with sell-by dates, maximize in-store product, and minimize stock-room inventory.
Order products for assigned accounts according to established procedures to prevent out-of-stock conditions.
Create display ideas or follow suggestions or schedules from the Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
Communicate daily with key store personnel about service or product needs.
Construct or assemble display aids using company-provided point-of-sale materials.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
