Merchandiser (FT) $16/HR: Las Cruces
About The Position
The Merchandiser displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and retail sales floors. The role arranges products according to an approved plan or ideas, places pricing and descriptive signs, and transfers products from customer stock rooms to floor displays to manage sell-by dates and inventory. The Merchandiser orders products for assigned accounts to help prevent out-of-stocks, develops or follows display ideas and schedules from management, communicates daily with key store personnel about service and product needs, and assembles display aids using company-provided point-of-sale materials. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Primary location: Mesilla Park, New Mexico.

Responsibilities
- Arrange products according to a prearranged plan or ideas approved by management.
- Place price and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floors.
- Transfer products from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with sell-by dates, maximize products in-store, and minimize stock-room inventory.
- Order products for assigned accounts according to established procedures to prevent out-of-stock conditions.
- Originate display ideas or follow suggestions or schedules from the Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
- Communicate daily with key store personnel about service or product needs.
- Construct or assemble display aids from company-provided point-of-sale materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
