Merchandiser - $17/ hr PLUS $5,000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
The Merchandiser displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and retail sales floors. This position arranges products according to a prearranged plan or management-approved ideas, places pricing and descriptive signs, and transfers product from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with “Sell By” dates, maximize in-store product, and minimize stock-room inventory. The Merchandiser orders products for assigned accounts according to established procedures to prevent out-of-stocks, develops or follows display ideas and schedules, communicates daily with key store personnel about service or product needs, and assembles display aids using company-provided Point of Sale (POS) materials. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor. Primary location: Salina, Utah. The posting advertises pay of $17 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Arrange products according to a prearranged plan or management-approved ideas.
- Place price and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floors.
- Transfer products from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with “Sell By” dates, maximize product on the sales floor, and minimize stock-room inventory.
- Order products for assigned accounts according to established procedures to prevent out-of-stock conditions.
- Develop display ideas or follow suggestions or schedules from the Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
- Communicate daily with key store personnel about service or product needs.
- Construct or assemble display aids using company-provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
