About The Position
Jacent is hiring a Merchandiser to work in stores in the employee’s local community. Merchandisers place products, build displays, and work with store personnel to support retail merchandising programs. The role involves cultivating relationships with in-store management, executing merchandising resets, building retail displays, merchandising impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks, and implementing plan-o-grams. The position offers $17.00 per hour, daytime hours, a predictable schedule, paid training, mileage and travel time paid between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities. Applicants should reside within 20 miles of the locations. The role is field-based in Quinlan, Texas.
Requirements
- Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
- Be comfortable in changing environments.
- Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without a reasonable accommodation: standing and walking 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners.
- Reside within 20 miles of the locations.
