About The Position

Convivial Brands is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to maintain the company’s brand presence and keep products stocked at assigned retail locations. The role involves servicing displays and fixtures, managing product replenishment and seasonal transitions, collecting information during store visits, and building effective relationships with store management. No prior merchandising experience is required; training is provided. The schedule is flexible during store hours Monday through Friday, though seasonal transition dates are firm. The position averages two hours bi-weekly at each location and pays $15 per hour. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a smart device.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• High school education or equivalent certification.
• A smart device and experience using smart device technology.
• An active email address that is checked frequently and can send and receive messages.
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned stores.
• Consistent, reliable internet access.
• Ability to download and install apps on a phone or other mobile device, keep the phone's operating system up to date, and use Wi-Fi.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new tasks and problem-solve quickly.
• Flexible, reliable, patient, and friendly.
• Must be available the day after major seasonal dates, such as Easter and Valentine's Day.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail experience, such as working with displays, shop layouts, or visual props, is ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review fixtures against planograms and initiate product reorders as needed.
• Assemble and set up store fixtures and displays according to planograms.
• Manage credits and returns for out-of-date products and complete seasonal transitions.
• Use technology to collect data during store visits and submit photos of visits and seasonal transitions.
• Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with store management.
• Service assigned stores by keeping displays stocked and organized, products straightened, and areas dust-free.
• Oversee the inventory and condition of store fixtures and materials, and organize and replenish products promptly.
• Assess and prioritize workloads based on store assignments and client needs.
• Represent Convivial Brands professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
