About The Position

Imperial Beverage is hiring a full-time Merchandiser in the Tri Cities, Michigan area. Merchandisers drive their own vehicle to assigned local stores to stock beer, wine, and spirits on shelves and in coolers, organize backstock, rotate products, and assemble displays. The role offers flexibility and entry-level experience with a beverage distributor. Employees must have a vehicle, a cell phone, and availability Tuesday through Saturday. Personal-vehicle mileage is reimbursed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and access to a personal vehicle.
• Reliable personal cell phone able to receive calls and text messages; the phone number must be available internally.
• Access to daily emails and a smart device for tracking mileage and hours.
• Attention to detail.
• Must live in or near the posted region.
• Ability to lift and/or move an average of 30 pounds repetitively.
• Availability Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Review emails and deliveries to plan the day's schedule.
• Go to assigned stores after delivery drivers have made deliveries.
• Greet the store manager and check in when needed.
• Review store invoices to identify delivered beverages.
• Stock shelves and coolers, rotating fresh product.
• Organize products remaining in the backstock area.
• Assemble product displays as needed.
