Merchandiser (Full Time Swing)- Madison, WI Area
About The Position
The Merchandiser professionally executes Pepsi Cola's marketing strategies while ordering and maintaining appropriate service levels within assigned accounts. The role safely, effectively, and efficiently maintains stock levels across shelves, coolers, displays, back rooms, and point-of-purchase areas, and pursues additional shelf, display, and cooler space. The Merchandiser works with team members to minimize out-of-date and damaged products and proactively communicates with the account team to identify opportunities and resolve issues. The position supports profitable growth through beverage sales and distribution, superior customer service, and customer-focused marketing programs. The schedule begins at 6:00 a.m. and continues until the end of the shift; weekend work may be needed. The position is based in the Madison, Wisconsin area and pays $24.70 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when needed.
- Valid state driver's license and personal auto insurance that is maintained.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, with a professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds from floor to waist, chest, or shoulder height and pull a cart with a load weighing up to 220 pounds.
- Authorization to work permanently in the United States; the company does not sponsor employment visas.
