About The Position
The Merchandiser professionally executes Pepsi Cola marketing strategies while ordering and maintaining appropriate service levels within assigned accounts. The role focuses on safely and efficiently maintaining product stock levels on shelves, in coolers, displays, back rooms, and point-of-purchase areas, while pursuing additional shelf, display, and cooler space. The Merchandiser works with account team members to minimize out-of-date and damaged products, communicate proactively, resolve issues, and identify opportunities. The position supports profitable growth through beverage sales and distribution, superior customer service, and customer-focused marketing programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English; ability to comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when needed.
- Valid state driver's license and personal auto insurance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds from floor to waist, chest, or shoulder height and pull a cart loaded up to 220 pounds.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis; the company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future.
