About The Position

The Merchandiser is responsible for increasing store sales by creating and maintaining visual merchandise displays. The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment, and a commitment to excellent customer service while handling additional responsibilities.

The position requires open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time and part-time hours are available. Compensation is $12 per hour or commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Review priorities and discuss special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes with a supervisor to determine the schedule.
• Maintain company-product shelf displays, remove damaged or freshness-dated products, tidy shelves, and optimize product displays.
• Restock shelves from inventory, monitor inventory levels, and prompt store management to reorder when stock appears low.
• Observe competitor product pricing.
• Observe customer reactions to special promotions, report observations to management, and remove promotions when the promotion period ends.
• Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
• Take ownership of requests and explore opportunities to add value to merchandising and organization accomplishments.
