About The Position
Jacent is seeking a Merchandiser to place products, build displays, and work with store personnel in local stores. Merchandisers work independently and with teams in changing environments, cultivating relationships with in-store management and delivering service in line with Jacent’s culture pillars: We Always Play Offense, We Are Solutions Oriented, We Deliver Legendary Service, We Act with Integrity and Courage, and We Are Stronger Together. The position is based in St. Joseph, Missouri, and requires residing within 20 miles of the city. It is an onsite, variable part-time role requiring 5–15 hours per week, with daytime hours and a predictable schedule.
Requirements
- Reside within 20 miles of St. Joseph, Missouri.
- Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours; lifting up to 50 pounds; crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
- Be a self-starter and quick learner who can work independently and in a team setting.
- Be comfortable in changing environments.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
- Execute merchandising resets.
- Build retail displays.
- Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
- Implement plan-o-grams.
